Tyme in Your Browser: Time Tracking for Windows & Android (Beta)

Tyme – time tracking now available on all platforms

“Time tracking can actually be fun” “Have no idea how I’d run my business without Tyme” and “Best time tracking app out there” – These are wonderful reviews from our users.

… And then there is that review: “… If the app ever comes out for Windows, I’ll be over the moon!” Okay, great! Then we’re happy to let you know:

Tyme is now available as a web app (beta)! The popular time tracking app, which was previously only available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, is now available in the browser for everyone on the team—on Windows, on Android, platform-independent.

Better time tracking for the team

We’ve received a lot of feedback from teams lately, and one request kept coming up: Make Tyme available across platforms. That’s because not everyone on many teams uses a Mac or iPhone.

With the new Tyme web version (beta), that’s a thing of the past. Tyme now runs in your browser!

What the web version (beta) can do

We built the web version so that it feels visually and functionally similar to our apps for Mac and iPhone, making it as easy as possible for everyone to use.

What already works:

  • A large timer in the header – start and stop tracking as easily as possible
  • Track times live or add and edit them later
  • Record breaks and plan vacations
  • All data synced. Available in real time and across all apps

Project management, team management, statistics, and export functions are still handled via the apps for Mac, iPad, and iPhone—for now, these remain the responsibility of the team admin.

Still in beta, but time tracking already usable

True, the web app can’t do everything yet. But it has the most important features, and we’re gradually expanding it. Project management, team management, statistics – those are coming, of course.

We really appreciate your feedback. If something isn't working or is missing, we'd love to hear from you.
