Shortcuts

Tyme now offers over 20 different actions for the Shortcuts app on iOS. Fully automate creating tasks, completing projects or exporting time tracking data using shortcuts.

🎁 The same shortcuts will be available for the Mac app as soon as macOS 12 Monterey is released.

• Categories can be created directly from the project screen
• Fixed a bug, that caused copy & pasting of time entries to fail
• Fixed an issue in the display of planned times at the end of the month
• Fixed a crash when re-assigning multiple time entries to a new team member

Features

• Entire categories including all projects can be shared with your team now
• You can now specify the sort direction of projects (ascending / descending)
• The hours distribution chart renders data in a hierarchy now
• Sub-tasks are now indented in the project list

• Fixed an issue when displaying planned hours in the statistics
• Categories in all dropdowns are not repeated for each project (Lists are more compact)
• Fixed some alignments for non-retina displays
• The number of tasks displayed on a closed project displays now correctly, when the option to hide completed tasks is active
• Archiving / Completing multiple tasks and projects at once now behaves as expected

Features

• Projects: New option to exclude completed tasks from the total sum of a project. If you have a long ongoing project and would like to only see the accumulated times of your current active tasks, this option is for you
• Projects: Graphical progress for projects & tasks. Get a faster overview of your projects & tasks time distribution

Bugfixes

• Projects: When having multiple tasks selected, completing or duplicating them works as expected
• Projects: Multi selection correctly restores when opening or closing a project
• Projects: Copy & Paste for multiple projects has been optimized

Project List

• Viewing completed tasks was rather cumbersome. Now there is a button to show / hide completed task on each project

GrandTotal Sync

• When cancelling an invoice, Tyme automatically resets the billing state now
• You can now open the invoice directly from a time entry in Tyme. Just right click > Open in GrandTotal

Widgets & Watch App

• The sync has been optimized. Updates should be faster now
• If you stop a timer via the watch, your notes don't get overwritten anymore

• NEW: Global hotkey to add or edit a time entry from any app without switching to Tyme
• NEW: toggl importer. Import all your time entries from toggl
• NEW: Keyboard shortcut for adding sub-tasks
• NEW: Select all / none button in the tasks selection
• Improved all data importers
• And as usual a lot of small improvements

• Archived categories are now hidden in the project dropdown
• The workload chart has been redesigned to work for small screen sizes
• Searching in the task selection, when having a large number of tasks, is now way faster
